Beside Himself – Exhibiting Male Anxiety is an exhibition that combines art, cinema, everyday objects, and fabricated vignettes to explore how the relationship between masculinity and anxiety manifests itself in cultural production. With Beside Himself, curator Terri C Smith creates an environment consisting of sets, sound, cinema, and a variety of visual materials that indicate, explore, and are in dialogue with male anxiety.
