Portland2012 celebrates Oregon artists whose work is defining and advancing contemporary art. Curator Prudence F. Roberts, has selected 24 artists/teams who will present their work at five venues citywide. Roberts’ choices represent a broad range of contemporary media, from craft traditions to social practice, installation, photography, painting and film/video. Most of the artists will be exhibiting work not previously shown in Portland or creating new works specifically for the Biennial.
