Dave Siebert’s Get Up With It reenacts the epiphanies and implosions of rock and roll’s forgotten side musicians, pulling from obscurity an assortment of unsung heroes and also-rans of the 1960’s and 70’s. Choosing a perspective from the drum throne, Siebert hammers out monuments and medleys designed to rekindle the energy of rock’s sideline geniuses.
